We worked with the Make Do agency technical team to undertake an external technical review of a recent project the team had worked on for a large industry client.
We reviewed the whole project, looking at general setup, usage and configuration of public WordPress plugins, and also a code review of the custom theme, and plugin code used in the project. We assessed usage of coding standards, best practices for WordPress development, potential performance issues or improvements and security issues (both specific, or in terms of general approached taken).
We produced a report detailing findings, documented specific issues inline in the code and worked through the areas with the technical team clarifying feedback, and offering advice about how improvements could be made.
